Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation is seeking a Senior Project Engineer – MV Switchgear to lead end-to-end MV switchgear projects in the UAE. You will coordinate with engineering, procurement, production, QA/QC, and clients to meet technical specs, timelines, and quality standards.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, protecting schemes, and ensuring compliance with IEC/IEEE standards while managing procurement, FAT, and project risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in electrical engineering with MV switchgear project experience.
• 8–10 years of experience in MV switchgear or power distribution projects.
• Experience in utilities, industrial plants, data centers, or infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end MV switchgear project execution from order to delivery.
• Review technical specs, GA drawings, protections, and project docs.
• Prepare schedules, milestones, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Coordinate with design, production, QA/QC, and clients/consultants.
• Review engineering drawings and ensure IEC/IEEE compliance.
• Coordinate procurement for breakers, relays, CT/VT, and accessories.
• Support FAT and testing, and address NCRs and deviations.
