Job summary

KEO Group in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Civil Structural Engineer with a strong background in construction supervision to lead delivery of a prestigious waterfront residential development.

The role focuses on reviewing structural designs, IFC documentation, and coordinating with AoR and multidisciplinary teams to meet project objectives. The ideal candidate has 15+ years in UAE-based projects, with 8+ years in consultancy and a track record delivering luxury villas.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of work experience in civil/structural engineering.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale UAE building projects is essential.
• Minimum 8 years in an engineering consultancy environment.
• Proven delivery of luxury villa and high-end residential developments.
• Experience on waterfront or coastal projects is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate detailed structural designs and IFC documentation.
• Support Architect of Record (AoR) services and coordinate multidisciplinary design activities.
• Provide construction supervision to ensure compliance with designs and standards.
• Coordinate with AoR, BIM teams, and other design disciplines throughout design and construction.
• Review shop drawings, submittals, RFIs and method statements; conduct site inspections.
• Address design conflicts and construction challenges; participate in BIM coordination.
• Assist in project handover, including as-built documentation and Defects Liability period.
