Job summary

KEO is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in Abu Dhabi, UAE, with a strong background in villas construction supervision. The role requires 10+ years in civil engineering and hands-on UAE villa project experience.

You will lead design and construction management, supervise on-site activities, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of work experience in civil engineering.
• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering.
• Proven hands-on experience in large-scale villas projects within the UAE.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong client relationships to ensure project expectations are met.
• Oversee design and construction management services through all project phases.
• Lead on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with design, safety, and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules across procurement, planning, design, and construction.
• Conduct structural calculations, simulations, and peer reviews for design integrity.
• Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors for coordinated structural systems.
• Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and address design challenges during execution.
• Participate in cost estimation and value engineering while upholding safety and quality.

Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Structural Engineer with a strong background in villas construction supervision to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

• Establish and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients to ensure that project expectations and contractual requirements are consistently met.


• Oversee the delivery of Design and Construction Management services throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.


• Lead and supervise construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.


• Manage the development and maintenance of comprehensive project schedules, covering procurement, planning, design, and construction phases.


• Conduct detailed structural calculations, simulations, and peer reviews to validate design integrity and regulatory compliance.


• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, MEP engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration and coordination of structural systems.


• Support construction teams by reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs, and addressing design-related challenges during execution.


• Participate in cost estimation and value engineering exercises, identifying cost-effective solutions while upholding structural safety and quality standards.


• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities to present design solutions, manage expectations, and address any project-related concerns.

Qualifications
