Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in structural engineering and site supervision.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects in Dubai or similar environments.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE building codes regulations and industry standards.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Exceptional technical report writing and communication abilities.
• Comprehensive understanding of building materials methods and quality control processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate structural engineering activities on construction sites throughout Dubai.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to approved plans quality standards and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with architects contractors and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical issues and optimize project outcomes.
• Manage and mentor junior engineers and team members fostering a collaborative and professional work environment.
• Review and approve structural designs calculations and drawings for compliance with local building codes and project specifications.
• Implement and maintain rigorous quality control procedures for all structural elements.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for project stakeholders.
• Coordinate with the design team to address on-site challenges and propose innovative solutions.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project managers and clients.
• Ensure all structural work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations.
