Job summary

Egis is recruiting a Senior Structural Engineer (Buildings Project) for its Dubai operations. The role focuses on site supervision of large-scale buildings, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence while coordinating with architects, contractors, and stakeholders.

Ideal candidates will have a civil engineering degree, 10+ years of site supervision experience, and strong leadership abilities. Knowledge of Dubai/UAE codes and LEED familiarity are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering, focusing on site supervision.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects.
• In-depth knowledge of local Dubai/UAE building codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise civil engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to specifications, budgets, and schedules.
• Develop and review detailed engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for construction projects.
• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure compliance with project requirements and local regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Manage and mentor junior engineers and technical staff.
• Prepare and present technical reports, project updates, and recommendations to senior management and clients.
• Implement and maintain safety protocols on construction sites.
• Identify and resolve complex engineering challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
• Stay updated on industry trends, innovative technologies, and sustainable construction practices.

As a Senior Structural Engineer - Site, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing large-scale construction projects, ensuring their successful completion while adhering to quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.
