Job summary

Egis Group in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Structural Design Engineer for steel structures to lead safe, functional and efficient design work for client projects.

You will prepare structural calculations, work with software like Midas, SAP2000, and Revit, review drawings, and coordinate with project managers, engineers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and compliance with Eurocodes and international standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Structural Engineering with at least 5 years' experience in steel structures.
• Familiar with infrastructural/industrial steel structures and high-end steel structures.
• Proficiency in structural design software (Midas, SAP2000, Staad Pro, Revit, AutoCAD).
• Knowledge of Eurocodes, US & British design standards.

Responsibilities

• Project technical assessment and design structural analysis to propose optimal solutions.
• Preparation of structural calculation models and technical specifications.
• Project value engineering and design input for project manager.
• Liaison with designers, engineers and architects to optimize design.
• Supervision of drafting team for shop drawings and submittals.
