Job summary

GHD is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to design and develop structural systems for buildings and infrastructure. You will collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

The role requires 8+ years in structural engineering, proficiency with SAP2000/ETABS/STAAD.Pro, and strong leadership to mentor junior engineers and BIM technicians.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or structural engineering; Masters degree preferred.
Professional engineer license or equivalent certification preferred.
8+ years in structural engineering focusing on building structures.

Responsibilities

Design and develop structural systems for buildings, ensuring compliance with local design requirements and standards.
Collaborate with project managers and team members to deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions.
Review and input on engineering designs to meet quality and safety standards.
Manage and mentor junior engineers and BIM technicians for successful project execution.
Ensure QA/QC procedures are followed throughout project execution.
