Job summary

AHS Properties invites a Design Manager – Structural to join our luxury real estate engineering team in Dubai. You will oversee structural design for high-end residential and commercial projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and alignment with architectural vision.

Collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver exceptional results through innovative structural solutions and rigorous analysis. PE license and a strong portfolio are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in structural design, preferably luxury real estate.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design process, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with architects and design professionals to integrate structural solutions with architectural designs.
• Conduct structural analysis and calculations to ensure the integrity and durability of designs.
• Review and approve detailed structural drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with construction teams to resolve issues during construction.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including design reports and construction details.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Stay current with advancements in structural engineering and construction methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design process, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices
• Collaborate with architects and other design professionals to integrate structural solutions with architectural designs
• Conduct structural analysis and calculations to ensure the integrity and durability of designs
• Review and approve detailed structural drawings and specifications
• Coordinate with construction teams to resolve any issues related to structural design during the construction phase
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including design reports and construction details
• Conduct site inspections to monitor compliance with design specifications and safety standards
• Stay current with advancements in structural engineering and construction methods

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in structural design, preferably within the luxury real estate sector
• Proven experience managing structural design projects from concept through completion
• Strong portfolio illustrating completed structural engineering projects
• Proficient in structural design software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, AutoCAD)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required
• Familiarity with sustainable design practices and principles is a plus.
