Job summary

GHD is seeking a senior structural engineer in Abu Dhabi to lead structural design activities for major building and infrastructure projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with international standards.

You will own projects, mentor team members, and collaborate with local and international GHD offices while applying UAE authority requirements and relevant design codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering.
• 8 years of professional experience in building and infrastructure projects.
• Working towards or Chartered Engineer status (MICE, MIStructE).
• Experience designing steel, concrete, and masonry structures to American and British Standards.
• Familiarity with UAE Authority design requirements.
• Proficiency in structural software such as CSI ETABS, SAFE, Robot Structural Analysis, STAAD, or Prokon.
• Experience working in a 3D design environment and familiarity with BIM protocols.
