Job summary

DAMAC Digital seeks a senior Structural Engineer to lead steel design across multiple projects in Dubai. You will ensure safe, buildable, economical designs compliant with UAE/ international codes and collaborate with architecture, MEP and procurement teams.

You will review shop drawings, provide technical input to submissions, and drive value engineering, with occasional concrete design work as needed. Proficiency in ETABS, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, Tekla, IDEA StatiCa, AutoCAD and Revit is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
8–10 years of structural steel design experience on large projects.
Professional registration or chartership preferred; UAE/Dubai knowledge advantageous.
Proficiency in structural analysis/design software and BIM tools (ETABS, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, Tekla, IDEA StatiCa, AutoCAD, Revit).

Responsibilities

Lead structural steel design across Damac Digital projects.
Review contractor/subcontractor submittals and shop drawings.
Prepare design calculations, drawings, specs and design models to project stages.
Ensure compliance with Eurocodes/BS EN 1993, AISC and UAE/local regs; support approvals.
Coordinate with architectural/MEP/civil and facade teams; resolve clashes using BIM.
Lead value engineering and design optimization with cost and schedule impact.
Contribute to tender documents, BOQ, bids in coordination with Commercial/Procurement.
Occasionally design/review concrete structures as needed.
