Job summary
arec-eng in Dubai’s Business Bay is seeking a Senior Structural Design Engineer with at least 15 years of Dubai experience and a G+Unlimited DM approval to lead complex structural design and reviews at project sites.
The ideal candidate will command advanced Revit skills and hands-on experience with ETABS, SAFE, PROKON and STAAD Pro, review shop drawings and submittals, coordinate with contractors and authorities, and ensure compliance with Dubai standards and project requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience in Dubai.
- G+Unlimited Dubai Municipality (DM) Approved Engineer.
- Revit proficiency is mandatory.
- Experience with ETABS, SAFE, PROKON and STAAD Pro.
- Strong knowledge of Dubai standards and structural design principles.
- Experience reviewing and approving structural shop drawings, submittals, method statements, RFIs, and as-built drawings.
- Ability to resolve site-related engineering issues and coordinate with contractors, consultants, and authorities.
Responsibilities
- Review and approve structural shop drawings.
- Review and approve material submittals and method statements.
- Conduct post-tensioning (PT) reviews.
- Review RFIs.
- Review and approve as-built drawings.
- Evaluate other site-related technical submittals.
- Resolve structural and technical issues arising at project sites.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and relevant authorities.
