Job summary

Target Engineering Construction Co LLC in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Steel Fixing Supervisor to lead reinforcement works on Oil & Gas EPC projects, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence. You will plan, coordinate, and supervise steel fixing activities, read drawings and BBS, manage foremen and crews, and ensure compliance with ITPs, QA/QC, and HSE requirements.

This role demands strong leadership on site and collaboration with civil, QA/QC, and project teams.

Qualifications

Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
10–12 years in steel fixing and reinforced concrete construction.
Minimum 5 years in a supervisory role.
Proven experience on Oil & Gas EPC projects, industrial facilities, infrastructure and heavy civil work.

Responsibilities

Review structural drawings, BBS, specs and method statements.
Plan and organize daily/weekly steel fixing activities to milestones.
Supervise reinforcement fixing for foundations, bases, tanks and other structures.
Ensure steel placement, laps, couplers, anchorage and cover meet drawings.
Monitor reinforcement cages, dowels, embedded items and inserts.
Verify works before concrete pouring and ensure proper handling and installation of bars.
Coordinate with formwork, concrete and engineering teams to avoid delays.
Lead toolbox talks and ensure work readiness on site.
Maintain QA/QC records and ensure compliance with ITPs and standards.
Promote safety, discipline, teamwork and quality workmanship.
