Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in structural steel, plate, and piping fabrication for heavy industry.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication drawings.
• Proven production planning and scheduling experience on large projects.
• Strong leadership and team supervision skills.
• Familiarity with QA/QC processes and international codes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise fabrication activities for structural steel, plate works, piping spools, and storage tanks.
• Ensure production targets align with project schedules and quality standards.
• Interpret engineering and fabrication drawings accurately.
• Monitor material utilization and control wastage.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, Planning, Procurement, and Project teams.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (ASME, API, AWS, etc.).
• Supervise welding, cutting, rolling, assembly, and fit-up activities.
• Prepare daily production reports and progress updates.
• Optimize manpower deployment and shop floor efficiency.
• Adhere to HSE standards and safe work practices.
• Support inspections, audits, and client visits.
• Identify process improvements to reduce fabrication cycle time.
