Job summary

athGADLANG is seeking a Statutory Reporting Specialist to join our Finance & Accounting team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role requires 5–7 years of experience, ACCA/ACA/CPA/CA or equivalent, and strong IFRS knowledge with hands-on experience in preparing standalone financial statements.

Candidates should have Big 4 exposure, advanced Excel and PowerPoint, and familiarity with Oracle ERP. Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to meet multiple reporting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience in statutory reporting or related finance roles
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field
• ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred
• Strong hands-on experience with IFRS compliance and financial reporting
• Proven experience preparing standalone financial statements: Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, Notes & Disclosures
• Experience reviewing financial statements for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance
• Exposure to group reporting, consolidation, and reporting packages
• Prior Big 4 audit experience highly preferred
• Strong understanding of statutory audit requirements and audit coordination
• Ability to review balance sheet schedules and present key insights to senior management
• Experience identifying and resolving reporting, disclosure, and compliance issues
• Knowledge of accounting standards updates and their impact on reporting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (mandatory)
• Proficiency in PowerPoint
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools, preferably Oracle
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple reporting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review statutory financial statements under IFRS.
• Coordinate with audit teams to support regulatory filings.
• Maintain accurate balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow disclosures.
• Analyze reporting packages and present insights to management.
