Job summary

WSP in the Middle East is seeking a Senior Stakeholder Engineer to join our Transport & Infrastructure team in Dubai. You will manage stakeholder relationships across major infrastructure design and construction projects, acting as the interface between project teams, clients, authorities, and the community to ensure smooth coordination and timely approvals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 8+ years’ UAE experience in stakeholder management on large transport projects.
• Proven liaising with Dubai authorities (RTA, DM, DDA, DCD, DEWA, du, etc.).
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Interpersonal skills to build relationships across diverse groups.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and tight timelines.
• Consultancy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead stakeholder engagement for complex transport and infrastructure projects.
• Develop and implement stakeholder management plans and comms strategies.
• Coordinate with authorities, utilities, developers, and community reps.
• Prepare stakeholder registers; track issues and resolutions.
• Support design teams in identifying constraints and mitigation.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and workshops.
• Review authority standards and procedures relevant to delivery.
• Provide input to reports, correspondence, and presentations.
• Ensure compliance with WSP project management systems and safety policies.
• Mentor junior team members in coordination best practices.
