Job summary

WSP in the Middle East is seeking an experienced Stakeholder Engineer to support major transportation infrastructure and utilities projects in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on dominating stakeholder and authority coordination with Abu Dhabi government entities, utility providers, and regulatory authorities throughout design and construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10+ years of stakeholder management and authority coordination experience.
• Dominant experience in Abu Dhabi with authorities and utility agencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead stakeholder management and authority coordination activities for infrastructure and utilities projects.
• Liaise with Abu Dhabi authorities and utility providers to secure approvals and permits.
• Manage approvals, NOCs, technical submissions, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design and construction teams to incorporate stakeholder requirements.
• Facilitate meetings and workshops with authorities and third-party stakeholders.
• Track stakeholder commitments, approvals, constraints, and project risks.
• Resolve stakeholder-related issues and expedite approvals to maintain schedules.
• Review designs and construction activities for compliance with authority standards.
• Prepare stakeholder management plans, approval matrices, and progress reports.
• Support asset handover processes with relevant authorities.
• Establish and maintain relationships with government agencies and project stakeholders.
