Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other relevant Science Subject.
• 7 years in developing spent fuel storage systems or nuclear facility design, licensing and regulatory engagement.
• Experience interacting with nuclear regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the Spent Fuel Management Program for Barakah, including storage and licensing.
• Lead licensing strategy with FANR and prepare licensing documentation.
• Evaluate dry storage technologies and support procurement.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders and external partners for program delivery.
• Oversee design and safety case reviews for dry storage facilities.
• Coordinate R&D activities and long-term strategy for spent fuel management.
• Ensure compliance with national regulations and international standards.
