Job summary

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a Site Engineer Electrical (PV) to oversee all electrical aspects of a large-scale solar project on-site in Abu Dhabi. You will ensure safe, high-quality execution of electrical works and coordinate with civil, mechanical, and project teams to integrate systems according to design specifications.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in solar PV and experience delivering on-site electrical installations while adhering to local regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• 6–12 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 3 years in solar PV projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, especially in large-scale solar power plants.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all electrical engineering activities on-site and supervise installation.
• Ensure electrical work complies with project specifications, standards, and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with civil, mechanical, and project management teams for seamless integration.
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders for timely delivery of components.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and promote site safety culture.
• Prepare and submit regular reports to the project manager on electrical installations.
• Identify potential electrical issues early and develop solutions to keep the project on track.
• Coordinate with local authorities to obtain permits and approvals.
