Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Design Lead (Electrical - DC) to review and execute engineering activities for solar PV plants, including generation estimates, overall plant layouts, DC SLDs, module selection, inverter sizing, SMB, earthing layouts and cable sizing, with BIM 3D modelling support.

The role requires cross‑disciplinary coordination, tendering input, timely delivery of drawings, and strong client liaison to meet project schedules.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering required.
• 10–12 years of design experience in Solar PV or Power Distribution.
• Experience with electrical layouts, DC SLDs, and cable sizing a must.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical inputs to tendering team.
• Timely delivery of engineering drawings & documents.
• Ensure deliveries align with project schedule.
• Review drawings and sizing calculations and obtain client approvals.
• Coordinate with multiple disciplines for inter‑departmental checks.
