Job summary

talabat is expanding from its Dubai Global Tech Hub to bring intelligence to its DMart network and delivery operations. You will be embedded in a cross‑functional team (engineering, product, data) and own end‑to‑end software within your domain, driving discovery, design, and delivery with high quality and speed.

Qualifications

• Empathetic and able to easily build relationships.

• Ability to mentor other engineers.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience; XP environment preferred (TDD, Pair Programming, Simple Design, Continuous Refactoring).
• Proficiency in .NET, Golang, and C#.
• Strong focus on automated end-to-end testing.
• Experience with distributed systems (Microservices, Event-Driven, RESTful).
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Experience with Trunk Based Development and Continuous Delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own the systems within a cross-functional team from discovery to delivery.
• Participate in continuous discovery with engineering, product and data.
• Design, write and release software end-to-end in the domain.
• Understand scalability and complexity and own the SDLC.
• Mentor engineers and drive a self-organizing, continuously improving unit.
• Critically question and simplify tech org processes and solutions.
