About the Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Applications amp Digital Products team

The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are

• Design and develop cutting-edge services that will transform the hospitality industry in the UAE
• Write clean maintainable code with high unit and integration test coverage and participate in code reviews and design sessions
• Conduct reviews focused on reliability performance load testing cost efficiency and security
• Improve service observability through metrics dashboards alerts and proactive monitoring
• Promote engineering best practices and drive automation initiatives to continuously improve solution quality and productivity
• Manage incidents problems and changes effectively including prioritization escalation root cause analysis and resolution of critical system issues
• Collaborate effectively with operations and technology partners demonstrating strong communication and diplomacy skills in regional and global environments

About You

• 5 years of experience in software engineering using modern programming languages such as C Java Go or Python
• Extensive experience with Docker Terraform Dynatrace and Kafka
• Strong proficiency in React TypeScript Next js HTML and CSS
• Strong experience with distributed systems architecture including microservices event-driven architectures and REST APIs
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS
• Strong knowledge of storage systems including PostgreSQL Redis and NoSQL databases
• Proficiency in testing with a strong focus on automated end-to-end quality assurance
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
