Job summary

Tanqeeb in Dubai seeks a qualified Civil Site Supervisor to lead daily construction activities on site. You will ensure work aligns with IFC/shop drawings, manage reinforcement, formwork and finishes, and coordinate with QA/QC, HSE, MEP, consultants and subcontractors to keep programs on track.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering qualification and 5–10 years of relevant experience, with strong knowledge of drawings and UAE/GCC familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in building construction.
• Strong experience in high-rise building projects is preferred.
• Good knowledge of structural and architectural drawings.
• Experience in reinforcement, formwork, concrete and building construction.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• UAE/GCC experience will be an advantage.
• Candidates available to join immediately or within a short notice period are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily civil construction activities at site.
• Execute works as per approved IFC/shop drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Supervise reinforcement, formwork, concrete, blockwork, plastering and finishing works.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, HSE, MEP, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams.
• Check levels, alignment, dimensions, verticality, and workmanship.
• Coordinate inspections, RFIs, WIRs, concrete pours, and site approvals.
• Monitor manpower, materials, productivity, and daily progress.
• Identify site issues, technical discrepancies, and delays and report them to the Project Manager.
• Ensure proper coordination of MEP sleeves, openings, embedded items, and other requirements before concrete works.
• Maintain daily site records and progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with project quality and HSE requirements.
