Job summary

United Arab Bank seeks an experienced Siron Compliance IT Application Support Specialist to manage critical compliance applications within a banking environment in Sharjah. The role focuses on ensuring stability, availability and effective functioning of AML, KYC and sanctions screening tools in collaboration with Compliance, IT, Operations, and external technology vendors.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Application Support experience in banking or regulated financial services.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Siron KYC, Siron Embargo and Siron ACM.
• Strong experience in Incident Management, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Change Management and Release Management.
• Good understanding of AML, KYC, Sanctions Screening and UAE Banking Compliance requirements.
• Ability to troubleshoot application issues, perform detailed analysis and coordinate with technology vendors for resolution.
• Strong experience in production support, application monitoring, problem management and continuous service improvement.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with Compliance, IT, Operations and business stakeholders in a highly regulated banking environment.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage Siron Compliance applications and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Monitor and troubleshoot KYC, Embargo/Sanctions and AML-related application issues.
• Lead incident investigation and prepare RCA and corrective/preventive action plans.
• Coordinate application changes, releases, patches and enhancements through appropriate governance processes.
• Manage vendor interactions, escalations and SLA adherence.
• Work closely with Compliance and business teams to understand functional requirements and ensure effective application configuration.
• Support audits, regulatory requirements and compliance-related application assessments.
• Identify opportunities for application optimization, automation and operational improvement.
