Job summary

Sigma Earth in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, seeks a Senior Advisor – Safety, Health and Environment to lead the SH&E program across projects, ensuring regulatory compliance and a culture of safety.

You will design and manage comprehensive safety initiatives, perform risk assessments, and mentor junior staff while coordinating with authorities and cross-functional teams. UAE-wide travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Leadership and people-management skills with 10+ years of SH&E exposure.
• Strong risk assessment and incident investigation capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-influence abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead SH&E programs and compliance across projects in Dubai and UAE.
• Design, implement, and monitor safety, health, and environmental initiatives.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety audits; drive corrective actions.
• Lead investigations into incidents and coordinate regulatory reporting.
• Deliver SH&E training; mentor junior team members.
• Keep up to date with UAE and international SH&E standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and regulators as required.
