Job summary

WOOD plc in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced PMC Lead Rotating Engineer to lead and coordinate engineering teams for planning, execution, and completion of technical projects for a high-profile client.

The role focuses on mechanical rotating equipment design, adherence to ADNOC standards, and collaboration with EPC contractors and IPMT. A senior professional with strong leadership and extensive Oil & Gas experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in oil and gas industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent technical team and interpersonal skills.
• Experience and detailed knowledge of relevant international codes and standards.
• Knowledge of engineering computer programs and general business software.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in all mechanical Rotating Equipment design.
• Coordinate, Monitor and handle Rotating equipment design and engineering with EPC Contractor as per project expectation and complete the same within the time frame.
• Work with other discipline engineers within IPMT, EPC Contractor, ADNOC Engineering / Operation / Site Interface to resolve technical issues and ensure quality Discipline Engineering execution and integrity.
• Perform regular and timely technical reviews of Mechanical Rotating Engineering deliverables developed by engineering consultants/contractors, ensuring design quality in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and best practices.
• Ensure integration of overall Mechanical Rotating Engineering. Overall coordination within IPMT Mechanical Rotating Engineering Team.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of Engineering Consultant’s & EPC Contractor’s Mechanical Rotating Engineering design activities.
• Review and approval of Engineering Consultant's and EPC Contractor’s work and ensure compliance with ADNOC project specifications, relevant codes and standards, and best industry practices.
