Job summary

Wood is seeking an experienced PMC Specialist Rotating Engineer in Abu Dhabi to lead mechanical rotating equipment design and ensure compliance with ADNOC standards. You will coordinate with IPMT, EPC Contractors, and engineering teams to deliver timely, high-quality deliverables across complex oil and gas projects.

The role demands extensive experience in rotating equipment, strong communication, and a track record of coordinating multi-discipline teams to resolve technical issues and optimize

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant oil & gas experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent technical team and interpersonal skills.
• Experience and knowledge of international codes and standards.
• Knowledge of engineering computer programs and general business software.
• Ability to make independent decisions in planning, organizing and coordinating to develop solutions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure integration of overall Mechanical Rotating Engineering.
• Coordinate with IPMT Mechanical Rotating Engineering team.
• Review and approve work of Engineering Consultants & EPC Contractors.
• Participate in design option analysis and optimization.
• Contribute to equipment sizing/selection for standardization.
• Ensure facilities comply with environment and health guidelines.
• Utilize existing facilities while planning new project needs.
• Participate in layout, model, and design reviews and workshops.
• Provide technical support to other discipline engineers.
• Coordinate tender reviews and performance evaluations.
