Job summary

Worley in Abu Dhabi is seeking a senior mechanical engineer with deep expertise in rotating equipment for onshore oil and gas projects. You will lead design, specification, and equipment selection while coordinating with vendors and clients to deliver compliant, safe, and reliable solutions.

The role requires 12+ years in discipline engineering, project leadership experience, and a recognized engineering degree with professional licensing where applicable. On-site work in the UAE is expected.

Qualifications

• Typically has 12+ years of relevant discipline experience.
• Experience in project leadership with regulatory knowledge and standards.
• Trained in risk management or quality.
• Awarded a 4 or 5 year technical degree in science or engineering and licensed where required.
• Senior level with mastery and the ability to lead small teams or projects.

Responsibilities

• Gathers data and prepares engineering studies, analyses, and calculations.
• Crafts recommendations and final documentation for technical issues.
• Participates in bid clarifications, bid evaluations, and vendor reviews.
• Supports constructability, operability, and maintainability reviews on site.
• Ensures compliance with HSE requirements and project standards.
• Communicates with stakeholders and coordinates with other disciplines.
