Job summary

STAR SERVICES LLC. in Abu Dhabi, UAE is seeking a Senior Roller with at least 8 years of experience in a long product rolling mill. You will operate and monitor high-speed block mill operations, change passes, rings and guides, and ensure coil quality and weight tolerances.

As Shift Supervisor in the absence of the regular supervisor, you will guide team members, maintain safety and quality standards, and troubleshoot mill issues to keep production running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a long product rolling mill.
• Experience in high-speed block mill operations is preferred.
• Knowledge of roll pass design, precision measuring instruments, and finished product quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor high-speed block mill operations.
• Change passes, rings, and guides according to the required rolling size.
• Inspect finished coils to ensure product quality and weight tolerances.
• Troubleshoot rolling mill issues and assist in clearing cobbles.
• Guide team members and support shift operations.
• Maintain workplace cleanliness and strictly follow health, safety, and quality standards.
• Act as Shift Supervisor in the absence of the regular supervisor.
