Job summary

Analog in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Robotics Engineer to design, develop, and deploy intelligent robotic systems that fuse AI, perception, estimation, and control. You will work with researchers, engineers, and product teams to translate concepts into real-world deployments, optimize performance on CPUs/GPUs/FPGA, and advance SLAM and LiDAR-based perception.

The role emphasizes cross-disciplinary collaboration, hands-on coding in C++ and Python, ROS/ROS2, and cloud robotics platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in C++ and Python for robotics and AI development.
• Hands-on experience with ROS/ROS2.
• Practical knowledge of SLAM and LiDAR-based perception systems.
• Experience deploying reinforcement learning algorithms in simulation and on real robots.
• Familiarity with cloud-based robotics platforms (AWS RoboMaker, Azure IoT Hub, Google Cloud Robotics).
• Proficiency with simulation tools (Gazebo, Isaac Sim, or Webots) and visualization frameworks (RViz).
• Strong software engineering practices: version control (Git), CI/CD, containerization (Docker).

Responsibilities

• Integrate estimation, perception, and control modules into robotic systems, ensuring seamless hardware/software interoperability.
• Conduct simulations, validation, and large-scale field tests to evaluate performance.
• Optimize algorithms for real-time execution on CPUs, GPUs, and FPGAs.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams in hardware, embedded systems, and software.
• Stay current with advances in robotics, AI, perception, estimation, and controls, and integrate novel research into applied solutions.
