Job summary

WSP in the Middle East is seeking an experienced Associate to lead the design delivery of complex roads and highways in Dubai/Sharjah, working at a senior technical level.

You will coordinate multi-disciplinary design teams, ensure compliance with Dubai RTA standards, and engage with clients and authorities to deliver on programme milestones while mentoring engineers within the Roads & Highways group.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of professional experience in roads and highways design.
• Extensive experience delivering Dubai RTA infrastructure and land development projects.
• Preferably last 5 years working on Dubai projects.
• Strong understanding of Dubai authority standards, approval processes, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary design teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and detailed design of roads and highways infrastructure.
• Coordinate with utilities, drainage, traffic, structures, and lighting.
• Review deliverables, drawings, reports, and calculations for quality.
• Support project managers in meeting programme and milestones.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring within the team.
• Engage with Clients and Dubai authorities in design reviews.
