Job summary

Thehseleader in Abu Dhabi seeks a Risk & Safety Engineer to lead and execute complex oil & gas safety studies for onshore and offshore projects. You will manage QRA, EERA, BRA, FERA, and related analyses using PHAST/SAFETI, Bow-tie XP or THESIS, and FLARESIM.

Requires 5–8 years of experience and a Bachelors or Masters in Chemical Engineering / Process Safety, with strong English communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Chemical Engineering, Process Safety, or equivalent.
• 5-8 years of proven experience in oil and gas safety studies (onshore & offshore).
• Experience handling QRA and related safety studies.
• Proficient in English, with strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute technical risk studies for onshore and offshore oil & gas projects.
• Perform Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRA).
• Conduct Con consequence modelling and fire risk assessments (FERA).
• Carry out Building Risk Assessments (BRA).
• Analyze Escape, Evacuation and Rescue Analysis (EERA).
• Perform Flare Radiation and Dispersion Analysis.
• Contribute to ALARP and Safety Case studies.
