Job summary

Tektora are supporting an established defence technology client in Abu Dhabi who design and build RF systems for military use. They are hiring a senior hardware quality engineer to sit between the RF, firmware, FPGA and software teams and to be the person who decides whether a product is actually ready to hand over.

You will verify quality and system readiness for handover to operations, and own the long-term supportability view of the product.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic or Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• 10+ years in hardware/RF test, validation or quality roles.
• Experience in military equipment development is required.
• Experience with lab instruments including spectrum/network analysers, signal generators, thermal cameras and data capture.
• Understanding of RF, power, electronics and software systems.

Responsibilities

• Verify quality and system readiness for handover to operations.
• Characterise and validate multi-discipline systems across RF, power, electronics and software.
• Identify weaknesses and plan mitigations rather than logging defects.
• Generate bills of materials and perform first article inspection.
• Support production and resolve manufacturing issues during handover.
