Job summary

Edge Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer for RF & Telemetry to support design, development, testing, integration and qualification of advanced RF, microwave, and airborne telemetry systems for defence and aerospace applications.

The role covers RF subsystem development, telemetry architecture, flight-test instrumentation, system integration, performance evaluation, and technology advancement across missile, UAV and aerospace platforms.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunications or related field.
8+ years in RF engineering, telemetry, or aerospace electronics.
Strong RF design, link-budget, antenna systems and signal integrity.
Experience with airborne telemetry hardware and SDR systems.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and qualify RF, microwave and telemetry systems for defence/aerospace.
Perform RF simulations, measurements, and link-budget analyses.
Define telemetry architectures and data packaging, sampling, and framing.
Integrate telemetry with Ethernet, UDP/TCP, CAN, and avionics networks.
Lead lab and flight-test activities; troubleshoot and analyze data.
