Job summary

Dubai Retail Organization is seeking a Retail Operations Manager for a large department store in Dubai. The role requires 5–6 years of experience in fashion/electronics and focuses on opening new stores, ensuring seamless stock, logistics, IT, and merchandising coordination.

The candidate will oversee budgets, store performance, and safety compliance while coordinating with VM for store layout and opening stock.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years of relevant work experience within fashion/electronics in the same capacity.

Responsibilities

• Manage new store opening processes, ensuring stock, logistics, IT, and merchandising are synchronized in a timely manner.
• Undertaking of special projects relating to new store openings and events
• Full line and performance management accountability of the Store Manager within the region.
• Develops and implements methods and procedures for monitoring store activities, such as sales, expenditures, progress reports etc., in order to inform senior management of current status of store activities.
• Interpret company policy to employees and reinforce safety regulations, including the Marketing and Visual Merchandising guidelines and promotional activities.
• Working with VM team, ensuring the coordination of store layout, store opening records and initial opening stock.
• Analyze store budgets to identify needs and/or reductions, and may allocate operating budgets funds.
• Monitors cash flows, sales performance, inventory control, cash sales receipts and operating records.
• Ensures compliance with established security, sales, and record keeping procedures and practices.
• Measure and monitor sales performance through KPI’s and commercial reports.
• Manage shrinkage and stock loss, highlighting risk areas to Retail director.
• Provide induction and initial training to new members of staff and ensure constant evaluation of the employee knowledge in terms of Brand Awareness, product knowledge and service skills.
• Work with Store Managers to consistently implement disciplinary procedures, reporting incidents to HR.
