Job summary

Parsons in Dubai is seeking a Resident Engineer - Roads and Bridges to lead construction supervision and delivery on major road and bridge projects in the United Arab Emirates. The role requires steering contractor performance, coordinating with government authorities, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards and project scope.

The candidate will manage schedules, budgets, and closeout activities while mentoring project teams and maintaining safety and quality across all works.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 15 years post-graduation experience in construction supervision.
• Experience in roads, bridges, and infrastructure projects.
• Experience on community development projects.
• GCC experience preferred, especially in Dubai.

Responsibilities

• Direct construction supervision activities for roads, bridges, and infrastructure works.
• Coordinate with contractors, client, and authorities to ensure progress and compliance.
• Review schedules, budgets and milestones to track progress.
• Oversee contract requirements and changes, ensuring contractual rights are fulfilled.
• Maintain coordination across engineering disciplines and project management teams.
