Egis is seeking a Senior Resident Engineer for a large-scale building project in Dubai. You will oversee on-site engineering activities, review methodologies, and ensure compliance with design specs and local codes.

You will lead a team of engineers, collaborate with contractors and regulators, and deliver progress reports while maintaining safety and quality across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years as Resident Engineer/Senior Resident Engineer on highrise projects; total 20 years.
• PE license preferred or equivalent.
• PMI PMP certification preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong leadership, communication and mentoring abilities.
• Understanding of Abu Dhabi/UAE building codes and local standards.
• Fluency in English; Arabic a plus.
• Contract management and oversight skills are required.

Responsabilités

• Lead and coordinate all on-site engineering activities, ensuring adherence to specs and safety.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and meet timelines.
• Review and approve construction methodologies, work plans and submittals.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks against design specs.
• Mentor junior engineers and technical staff on-site.
• Prepare and present detailed progress reports, flag risks and mitigation steps.
• Liaise with authorities to obtain permits and approvals.
• Implement robust safety protocols to ensure a safe site.
• Analyze construction processes and seek efficiency and cost improvements.
