  • Develop production-sustainability strategies that improve operational efficiency and control costs.
  • Define reservoir engineering requirements for production capacity testing, special core analysis and logging activities.
  • Confirm that reservoir studies and testing programs follow company guidelines and accepted technical practices.
  • Maintain reservoir engineering records and ensure timely receipt of essential subsurface data.
  • Quality-check and update production, pressure, PVT, core-analysis and capacity-test information.
  • Manage reservoir information within approved technical files and databases.

  • Coordinate reservoir requirements with treatment-facility and production-system packages.
  • Compile and validate information covering flowlines, degassing stations, water injection, lift-gas networks and manifolds.
  • Define technical battery limits and interfaces affecting field-development activities.
  • Align reservoir plans with stakeholders involved in oil and gas production.
  • Resolve interface issues and pursue optimization opportunities across development packages.
  • Support development schedules, assigned responsibilities and associated cost estimates.
  • Plan and supervise work within the assigned technical area.
  • Develop assigned personnel through technical guidance and practical training.

Ideal Profile

Candidates must hold a Bachelor "s Degree in Reservoir Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering or an equivalent discipline. The position requires 9-12 years of general petroleum engineering experience, including at least six years in reservoir engineering. Applicants should demonstrate substantial exposure to oil and gas field-development management, full-field simulation studies and software-based reservoir modelling.
