The Senior Petroleum Engineer will support the development and implementation of Digital Oil Field solutions that improve production efficiency and reservoir management across ADNOC operations. Working closely with Field Development, Petroleum Development, Field Operations, technical teams, technology providers, and contractors, the position will translate production challenges into practical digital solutions using real-time field data, intelligent well technologies, remote surveillance, and production optimization tools. The role has a direct impact on oil and gas recovery by improving the balance between production and injection, strengthening well surveillance, optimizing gas lift performance, and enabling faster technical decisions through reliable field data and advanced monitoring systems.
The successful candidate should hold a Bachelor 's Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline. A minimum of 10 years of petroleum engineering experience is required, with substantial practical exposure to production operations, well completion, workover activities, well testing, and production optimization. The position is particularly suitable for an engineer with strong knowledge of intelligent field technologies, production surveillance, gas lift optimization, well intervention, injection systems, and reservoir-performance monitoring. Candidates should be capable of interpreting production and downhole data, assessing new technologies, designing field trials, evaluating technical results, and converting operational requirements into effective Digital Oil Field solutions. Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary petroleum engineering, reservoir, production, operations, technology, and service-provider teams will be important for successful delivery.
