Job summary

Mediclinic Parkview Hospital in Dubai is seeking an experienced Nursing Lead to supervise the Endoscopy unit. You will provide strong clinical leadership, ensure evidence-based patient care, and drive team performance to enhance patient experiences.

The role requires 5+ years in Endoscopy nursing, 2+ years in a senior leadership capacity, ERCP experience, and strong governance/communication skills. Based in Dubai, UAE, with competitive professional amenities and regulatory compliance focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognised/accredited Nursing Institute
• Minimum 5 years’ nursing experience in Endoscopy
• At least 2 years' senior nursing experience as Team Lead/Charge Nurse in Endoscopy
• ERCP experience
• Demonstrate ability to implement all five stages of the Nursing Process
• Proficiency in governance standards and English communication

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

Lead and manage the nursing team in the provision of patient-centric and evidence based nursing care, operational efficiency and positive patient experiences

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• To provide strong leadership and management guidance to the team
• To ensure evidenced based patient care practices are followed as per clinical standards
• To ensure a positive patient care experience by developing employees and creating an environment for team engagement
• To manage allocated clinical and non-clinical resources in a cost effective and efficient manner to enhance safe patient care
• To ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory, and clinical standards to ensure continues quality improvement

REQUIRED EDUCATION

A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognised or accredited Nursing Institute

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• At least 5 years’ nursing experience in Endoscopy
• At least 2 years' senior nursing experience as a Team Lead/ Charge Nurse in Endoscopy unit
• ERCP experience

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Demonstrate the ability to implement all five (5) stages of the Scientific Nursing Process (assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation and evaluation)
• Relevant JCIA and other related governance and regulatory standards
• Application of the nursing scope of practices as per the regulatory framework
• Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications
• Financial management principles
• Risk management principles, systems and best practice
• Stock control principles and management
• Verbal and written communication skills in English
