Job summary

Mediclinic Arabian Ranches in Dubai seeks a Nursing Manager to lead and manage the nursing team, delivering patient-centric and evidence-based care while driving operational efficiency.

You will ensure compliance with clinical standards, develop staff, and optimise resource use to support safe patient care and a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognised/accredited Nursing Institute.
  • At least 5 years’ nursing experience, preferably in a private hospital/clinic.
  • Desired: 3-5 Years’ senior nursing experience.
  • Strong leadership and management capabilities.
  • Excellent English communication and documentation.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To lead and manage the nursing team in the provision of patient-centric and evidence based nursing care, operational efficiency and positive patient experiences


KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognised/accredited Nursing Institute


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Essential: At least 5 years’ nursing experience, preferably in a private hospital/clinic


Desired:3-5 Years’ senior nursing experience


REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE


  • Demonstrate the ability to implement all five (5) stages of the Scientific Nursing Process (assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation and evaluation)

  • Application of the nursing scope of practices as stipulated in the regulatory framework

  • Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications

  • Demonstrate competence in assessment of all nursing procedures

  • Demonstrate competence in the application of key clinical equipment used in the clinic

  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of patient care and nursing management

  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of relevant Acts, statutory regulations and directives, and the application thereof to management of the nursing team/unit

  • Demonstrate the ability to cost-effectively control expenses

  • Demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of all relevant external standards and manage compliance to these standards

  • Risk management principles, systems and best practice

  • Stock control principles and management

  • Verbal and written communication skills in English
