Job summary

Tektora is seeking a senior React engineer to join the front end for cellular communications products in Abu Dhabi. You will own design decisions and implementation, working on real-time systems and contributing to architecture. Relocation is supported, international candidates are welcome.

Role focuses on building a scalable UI on top of real-time services, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering production-grade software in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in web application development (JavaScript/TypeScript/HTML/CSS).
• 8+ years with React or a comparable framework.
• Experience with Redux, Docker and WebSocket in production.
• Ability to read specifications and design accordingly.
• Self-directed with strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Responsibilities

• Research, design and development of cellular communications applications using React and WebSocket.
• Designing and building for deployment across multiple platforms and architectures, and maintaining the CI/CD pipeline.
• Writing unit and integration tests, and unit testing your own code.
• Working alongside developers, system architects and product managers to deliver production-grade solutions.
• Contributing to technical and architectural decisions rather than only implementing them.
• Working in multi-disciplinary Agile teams.
