Job summary

EDGE seeks an Electromagnetic Engineer to mature absorber materials design, analyze RCS, and integrate stealth features with airframe teams. The role combines electromagnetism theory with practical design using CST, FEKO, HFSS and Python/MATLAB for data analysis.

You will work across stealth materials, RAM concepts, and validation through simulations and tests, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure stealth requirements meet lifecycle needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/EM/Phys., PhD preferred.
• 5-10 years in EM engineering, radar LO/stealth focus.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize low-observable features for platforms.
• Perform detailed radar cross-section analysis using CST, FEKO, HFSS.
• Collaborate with Aerodynamic and Structures teams for stealth integration.
• Develop and validate physics-based models for predictions and mitigation of signatures.
• Conduct trade studies on stealth design approaches.
• Support testing and validation across ranges and flight trials.
• Interpreting test data and refining models against measurements.
