Job summary

HKA, a leading global consultancy, seeks a qualified professional to support complex disputes across construction, infrastructure, energy, and engineering sectors. You will help prepare quantum analyses, assess claims, and contribute to expert reports for arbitration and litigation while collaborating with top experts to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree inQuantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management or Engineering.
• Experience in construction, engineering, infrastructure or energy projects.
• Experience preparing or managing quantum claims and commercial disputes.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, project commercial management, and cost analysis.
• Excellent analytical, report writing and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience supporting dispute resolution proceedings (arbitration or litigation) is advantageous.
• Membership of MRICS/AIQS/CIOB or equivalent is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review quantum analyses, damages assessments and construction claims.
• Evaluate project records, contracts, cost documentation for entitlement and quantum.
• Assist in expert reports for arbitration, litigation and dispute resolution.
• Support development and testing of expert opinions through detailed analysis.
• Build and maintain client relationships by delivering high-quality work and advice.
• Support business development, including proposals, client engagement and events.
