AECOM Abu Dhabi invites an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with site supervision expertise to oversee cost management, contract administration, and field oversight on large-scale projects. You will lead a team of quantity surveying professionals to deliver accurate financials and compliant project execution.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and leadership to drive project success in a dynamic construction environment in the UAE.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in quantity surveying with demonstrated expertise in cost estimation and budget management.
• Minimum 8 years of direct site supervision experience on construction projects.
• Advanced proficiency in cost estimation software, project management tools (such as Primavera P6), and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of contract administration, construction law, and standard forms of contracts.
• Proven ability to analyze financial data, prepare forecasts, and manage project budgets effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor all site activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts for assigned projects.
• Administer contracts, including review, negotiation, and enforcement of contractual terms and conditions.
• Process and evaluate variation orders, change requests, and claims with thorough documentation and analysis.
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and cost optimization.
• Conduct regular site inspections and prepare comprehensive progress reports for stakeholders.
• Analyze project performance data and provide actionable recommendations for cost control and efficiency improvements.
• Lead and mentor junior quantity surveying staff, fostering professional development and maintaining high performance standards.
• Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including contracts, invoices, and correspondence.
• Identify and assess project risks, implementing mitigation strategies to protect project interests.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and organizational policies throughout project execution.
