Job summary

Parsons in the United Arab Emirates seeks a seasoned Quantity Surveyor to lead cost estimation, pricing, post‑contract administration and financial reporting on major infrastructure projects.

You will measure quantities, price contracts, manage payments, variations, cash flows and claims, ensure contractual compliance, and mentor the team. A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or QS and 10+ years’ experience are required; AutoCAD is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 10 years experience in large infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of pre and post contract administration.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate logically and clearly with management and staff.

Responsibilities

• Measure and price using contract drawings, specifications and Bills of Quantities.
• Handle post-contract QS functions: interim/final payments, variations, cash flows, claims.
• Advise on contractual matters.
• Ensure completeness and validity of contractual requirements.
• Coordinate and monitor team activities.
• Prepare variations and day-works.
• Audit payments to Contractors.
• Prepare financial statements for monthly report.
