Job summary

Tanqeeb seeks an experienced GCC-focused construction commercial professional to lead MEP-related commercial management, contract administration, and financial control for iconic, complex MEP projects in the UAE.

You will drive contract management from pre-contract to final account, apply FIDIC-based approaches, manage variations, risk registers, and robust cost reporting with value engineering across new build and fitout works. Immediate or short-notice onboarding is available in the UAE.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive command of contract management, procurement, and commercial reporting from pre-contract stage to final account settlement.
• Detailed knowledge of cost planning, cash flow forecasting, CVR, and value engineering of MEP in new built and Fitout works.
• Proficiency in administering FIDIC forms of contract, evaluating variations, managing risk registers, and formulating robust contractual claims (EOT and disruption assessments).
• 8-12 years of construction commercial experience in UAE/GCC projects; proven leadership on high-profile projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial teams on high-profile UAE/GCC MEP construction projects.
• Prepare and manage cost reports, cash flows, and CVR reconciliations across project stages.
• Administer FIDIC contracts, evaluate variations, and document claims and disruption assessments.
• Mitigate risk, maintain risk registers, and support final account settlements.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Comprehensive command of contract management, procurement, and commercial reporting from pre-contract stage to final account settlement.

• Detailed knowledge of cost planning, cash flow forecasting, Cost-Value Reconciliation (CVR), and value engineering of MEP in new built and Fitout works.

• Proficiency in administering FIDIC forms of contract, evaluating variations, managing risk registers, and formulating robust contractual claims (EOT and disruption assessments).

• 8-12 years of construction commercial experience in UAE/GCC projects preferred, with a proven track record leading teams on high profile projects.
