Job summary

KEO International Consultants in Dubai is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee cost, contract and financial control on large-scale projects. This role requires extensive pre- and post-contract management within a cost consultancy environment.

You will lead budgeting, procurement, contract administration (FIDIC), value engineering, risk mitigation, and stakeholder liaison to keep projects on budget and on schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years management experience within a Cost Consultancy environment.
• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying; MRICS or equivalent would be highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Managing and controlling the project budget and providing cost reports to client and project team.
• Overseeing procurement documents, tendering processes, and contractor selection.
• Managing FIDIC contracts, reviewing conditions, variations, and settlements.
• Preparing detailed cost estimates for different project stages and advising on costs.
• Maintaining records of financial transactions and preparing periodic reports.
• Evaluating changes and variations and their impact on budget and timeline.
• Identifying financial risks and developing mitigation strategies.
• Participating in value engineering to find cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality.
• Liaising with client, contractors and consultants on financial and contractual matters.
