Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying or related field.
• Chartered membership of RICS preferred.

• Experience with cost estimating and final-cost reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quantity surveying team and ensure accurate assessments.
• Manage budgets, cash-flow forecasts, and final costs.
• Review cost estimates, bills of quantities and tender docs.
• Support tender evaluations and procurement recommendations.
• Review payment applications and provide substantiated recommendations.
• Assess variations and budget implications of changes.
• Prepare cost estimates for project elements.
• Monitor commercial risks and prepare reporting.
• Coordinate with consultants and contractors to resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with contracts and delegated authority.
• Maintain commercial risk registers and trackers.
