Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction or property development; UAE experience desirable.
• Knowledge of UAE construction laws, regulations and standards.
• Experience in cost management, budgeting, and project scheduling.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to mitigate risks.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-specific software like Procore and Buildertrend.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review cost estimates, budgets, and financial plans for construction projects.

• Strong knowledge of local construction laws, regulations, and standards in the UAE.
• Proven experience in cost management, budgeting, and project scheduling.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to identify and mitigate risks.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-specific software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, etc.).
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Fluency in English (Arabic language skills are a plus).
