Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying and cost management.
• Proven expertise in cost planning, procurement, contract administration, and commercial project management.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing trends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities from drawings.
• Manage project budgets and provide regular financial reports and forecasts.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations for cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor expenditures, perform cost value reconciliations, and allocate costs across work packages.
• Conduct site visits to verify progress and align with financial targets.
• Prepare tender documentation and manage contract terms with legal and procurement teams.
• Administer contracts and manage change control, variations, and final accounts.
• Support risk management by identifying cost risks and mitigation strategies.
• Provide advice on procurement strategies and cost control to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, health and safety, and environmental guidelines.
